Pronunciation?
It seems we get all variations of such a simple name! We get a lot of Afin and Alfin, we get Ay-pin quite a bit and even some Aspins and an Aphid or two. Think of "a pin" in a haystack, it is pronounced A-pin, but if you get it wrong he answers to just about anything.

What do all the letters stand for?
Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Birmingham, England, Fellowship in dental Surgery from the Royal College of Dental Surgeons, Edinburgh, Scotland, Diploma in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Dental Surgeons, Edinburgh, Scotland, and a Masters in Philosophy.

He was born in Mauritius but he spent some of his formative years in Ontario, he graduated from the University of Birmingham, England in 1982 and then went on to specialize in orthodontics in Edinburgh, Scotland. He moved his family to Yellowknife, Northwest Territories and worked both there and in Hay River until purchasing a practice here in Spruce Grove in 1993. He has enjoyed living and working with the people of the community and looks forward to many successful years to come.
